The editors congratulate previous contributors David J. Daniels and James Valvis on the inclusion of their work originally published in Waccamaw in Sundress Publications’ Best of the Net 2012.

Poetry judge Marilyn Kallet selected Daniels’s poem “To an Old Queen Getting Dressed,” which originally appeared in issue 9, and fiction judge John McManus selected Valvis’s story “The Disappearing Fathers of Jersey City,” which originally appeared in issue 8.

Congratulations also to poets Juliana Gray, Terry L. Kennedy, and Erika Meitner, whose previous Waccamaw contributions were noted as finalists for the same anthology.
