Peter Grimes grew up in Asheville, North Carolina. He received an M.F.A. from the University of Florida and is pursing a Ph.D. in creative writing, U.S. literature, and narrative theory at the University of Cincinnati. His fiction has appeared in or is forthcoming from Cream City Review, Orchid, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and Lake Effect.
