Michele Poulos’s poems and prose have appeared in Copper Nickel, storySouth, and Blackbird. She was a finalist for Crab Orchard Review’s 2008 Charles Johnson Student Fiction Award. She is a two-time nominee for inclusion in the anthology Best New American Voices (Harvest Books, 2008 and 2009). She teaches at Virginia Commonwealth University.
