Author Biography
Amaud Jamaul Johnson Amaud Jamaul Johnson’s debut collection, Red Summer (Tupelo 2006), was selected by Carl Phillips as winner of the 2004 Dorset Prize. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University and Robert Frost Fellow in Poetry at the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, he is a graduate of the Cave Canem Workshop. His poems appear and/or are forthcoming in Quarterly West, The Southern Review, Shenandoah, Indiana Review, West Branch, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and New England Review. He teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
