Author Biography
Jack Gilbert Jack Gilbert was born in Pittsburgh. He is the author of Refusing Heaven, The Great Fires, Monolithos, and Views of Jeopardy, which won the 1962 Yale Younger Poets Prize. The recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Gilbert lives in Northampton, Massachusetts. |
