Julie Brooks Barbour received her MFA in Creative Writing from UNC-Greensboro. Her chapbook, Come To Me and Drink, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in UCity Review, Pigeonbike, Kestrel, and Migrations: Poetry and Prose for Life’s Transitions. She teaches creative writing and composition at Lake Superior State University, where she is founder and editor of the journal border crossing.
