Gary Leising’s poetry has been published in literary journals including CutBank, Cincinnati Review, River Styx, Connecticut Review, MARGIE, and Passages North. His chapbook, Fastened to a Dying Animal, was published by Pudding House Publications in 2010, and he was chosen by Russell Edson for the 2008 1/2K Prize from Indiana Review. His reviews and essays have appeared in The James Dickey Newsletter, Black Warrior Review, Pleiades, and The Way We Read James Dickey, a collection of new critical approaches to Dickey’s work. He is an associate professor of English at Utica College in New York.
