Author Biography
Mary Hutchins Harris Mary Hutchins Harris is a poet and essayist. Her chapbook, A Tongue Full of Yeses, was selected by Kwame Dawes for publication in the South Carolina Poetry Initiative/USC Press Chapbook Contest. She has been a featured poet for the Piccolo Spoleto Sundown Series and the Stories for Life Festival in Charleston, SC and at the South Carolina Book Festival. Her work has appeared in print publications, such as Tar River Poetry, Kakalak, Antietam Review, Main Street Rag, Poemeleon, and Pirene’s Fountain, as well as in other print and on-line publications. She was the 2009 Pirene’s Fountain Editor’s Award winner. |
