Lori Jakiela is the author of a memoir, Miss New York Has Everything (Hatchette, Grand Central 2006), and three poetry chapbooks. Her essays and op-eds have appeared in The New York Times (Modern Love), Creative Nonfiction, Gulf Stream, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune Review, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, KGB BarLit, The Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Pittsburgh Quarterly, and elsewhere. She teaches in the undergraduate writing program at The University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg and in the low-residency MFA program at Chatham University.
